2020 HOOPOE BIO Sangiovese IGP Toscana (cassa da 6 btg.)

🇮🇹 Hoopoe ti stupirà con un colore rosso mora e sentori di foglie di menta fresca e salvia e seguite da note centrali speziate, anice e agrumi. In bocca è pieno di frutta rossa con sentori di marmellata di ciliegia, ribes nero e cenni di cedro. Di medio corpo, con tannini presenti, avvolgenti e sopportati da un'acidità ben integrata. 1/3 del vino è affinato 16 mesi in acciaio mentre 2/3 per 11 mesi in acciaio e altri 5 mesi in barriques francesi di 3° passaggio.

🇬🇧 Hoopoe will impress you with a blackberry red colour and hints of fresh mint leaves and sage followed by spicy, aniseed and citrus central notes. In the mouth it is full of red fruit with hints of cherry jam, blackcurrant and hints of cedar. Medium-bodied, with tannins present, enveloping and supported by well-integrated acidity. 1/3 of the wine is aged 16 months in steel while 2/3 is aged 11 months in steel and a further 5 months in 3rd passage French barriques.
